Another cut of Watchmen – this time it’s ULTIMATE cut which is something like 3 and half hours long. Quote from Warner Bros: “Warner Home Video has officially announced release of ‘Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut’ for November 3. Ultimate cut will contain the animated comic ‘Tales of the Black Freighter’ woven into the director’s cut of the film. The total running length will be 215 minutes.”

In a gritty and alternate 1985 the glory days of costumed vigilantes have been brought to a close by a government crackdown, but after one of the masked veterans is brutally murdered an investigation into the killer is initiated. The reunited heroes set out to prevent their own destruction, but in doing so discover a deeper and far more diabolical plot.
